River v1.0 ========================================= Mapping and Scripting by uber_soldat Supported Gametypes: DM, TDM, S&D, HQ Players: 10 - 64 Version: 1.0 Email: iownabicycle@hotmail.com me004e4180@blueyonder.co.uk ========================================= This map is set in the winter of 1944, as the USSR is pushing forward towards Germany. The Soviet soldiers are dug in, as an armoured German counter-attack approaches from the west. The landscape is made up of fields, separated by fences and cliffs, meaning players will have to move forwards using all cover possible. Running through the open will get you killed by snipers. The German troops currently hold a small industrial town to the West, and are preparing for an attack. A small group of German troops are being sent forward to destory one of two objectives: - a small armoured convoy bringing ammo to the front line - the train engine in the trainstation This should take out a large supply of Soviet ammo, giving the main attack more chance of sucess. The Soviet forces are dug in around farms and open land, with a trainstation in the East providing supplies There are 3 bridges across the river, and if they are defended properly, the whole German team can be held off easily, especially with the rows of Soviet defences. Part of the river is frozen though, which is the biggest area for the German team to get across. ================================================================================== Installation: Copy the ZZ-Soviet.pk3 to your Call of Duty/Main folder.
